: [Omegaverse] Can heartbreak kills? It seems like it because Lucian just wanted to die. Nicholas Blackwood, the dominant Alpha who imprinted him and got him pregnant, broke his heart into a million pieces when he accused Lucian of intentionally drugging him, so Nic would have sex with him during his rut and knotted – all was to make Nic bonded to him. Which is not true. But who could tell an angry Alpha reason when he was blinded by hatred? Nic loved another omega but the imprint had chained him to Lucian. Once an Alpha marked an omega, he could never be with another one, unless the mate bond between them was severed by death. Things turned from bad to worse when when his unwanted mate became pregnant, and Nicholas was forced by his grandmother to take responsibility by marrying Lucian. The pain of having to let go of the love of his life made Nicholas bitter and blame Lucian for everything. He decided to make Lucian’s life a living hell when he mistakenly thought it was Lucian who drugged him. Broken, despaired, and losing the will to live, Lucian decided to end his life to allow Nicholas, the man he loved, be together with the person he truly loved. Would the truth be uncovered before everything became too late?
